Welcome, authors, to the Ranch. I'm looking forward to learning a lot about SonarQube this week. I have some experience with it, back when it was just called Sonar, but haven't looked at it in the last year or so.

I hope you find us pleasant and interesting,
Burk

Hi everyone

I'm excited to participate in this promotion and I can't wait to answer all your questions regarding SonarQube ( ex-Sonar ), software quality and technical debt.
I think it's a good idea to shortly introduce myself

My name is Patroklos Papapetrou and I live in Northern Greece, Thessaloniki . The last 15 years I tap keyboard keys for living. You can place any title you want for that but I prefer call myself : Software Gardener. I'm an agile enthusiast and obsessed with software quality ( in general not just source code ). I believe in the power of teams and I always try to invest in people and their skills ( soft & technical ). Regarding SonarQube I'm an active member of user and dev mailing lists for almost 4 years and I've developed / contributed to several open source plugins. This book is my first authoring work and I feel extremely lucky to be a part of this project.

In my personal blog (Only Software Matters) I've posted several articles related to SonarQube and software quality. You can also follow me at twitter (@ppapapetrou76) or connect with me at LinkedIn

So that's all for now... let the questions begin

I guess I've been abducted by space aliens. So unprofessional. They tried to probe me with this tiny ad:
