I live in New York and we just finished Maker Faire - the greatest show (and tell) on earth. It is just such a cool place to be.

Have you been to a Maker Faire? Where? What did you like best?

Austin has a "mini" maker faire.

Yes, we have one in Detroit. We were supposed to go this year, for the first time, and it happened to be the weekend of my older son's birthday, so it was going to be a fun family outing. But he broke his arm the weekend before and was still feeling mopey, so we decided to hold off until next year. It's definitely on our radar.
