Dear Ann Campbell and Patroklos Papapetrou,

Sometimes I want to modify the compliance rules because I want to add mine or want to delete some I consider useless.

Does your book explain how to customize the compliace rules ?

Thanks.

It sounds like you're asking about how to modify the rule set. Absolutely, the book does cover that; that's what chapter 13 is devoted to.

If you're asking about how to adjust the rules compliance calculation, then I don't think the book does go into that specifically. But it's a simple configuration. The default formula is as follows:

blockers = 10 points
criticals = 5
majors = 3
minors = 1
info = 0
