What’s new in this release?

The long awaited version of Aspose.Slides for Java (7.8.0) has been released. This is mainly a maintenance release where we have improved the capability to work in multi-threaded environments. Many multi-threaded presentation rendering issues have been addressed in this release. We have also improved the presentation rendering support in terms of generating slide thumbnails and exporting presentation to PDF and TIFF. Some important bug fixes included in this release are given below

- Implement Import from HTML into PPTX
- Performance issue when getting table coordinates
- Exception is resolved while exporting presentation to PDF in UNIX/AIX
- Aspose.Slides License working in OSGi application is enhanced
- Picture.getImage() is returning wrong image type is now fixed
- Exception resolved while exporting presentation to PDF in threaded environment
- Enhanced export to PDF in threaded environment
- Missing slide contents in generated Pdf Notes is fixed
- Bullet characters rendering in generated thumbnail is enhanced
- Charts missing in generated PDF is fixed
- Piccture.getImage() returns ah as image type is now fixed
- Images inside PDF are now properly rendered
- PDF file generation is enhanced for POT files
- java.lang.VerifyError on creating presentation instance is now fixed
- Fonts are rendered differently in generated PDF is now fixed
- Chart missing in the generated PDF is fixed
- Text underline missing in generated PDF is now fixed
- AssertionError on using special Chinese TrueType fonts in presentation is fixed
- AssertionError on presence of OpenType fonts in Fonts folder is now fixed
- PptException: Multi-page TIFF encoder not found on generating presentation tiff image is now fixed
