Jasper Reports - HyperLink

This is the scenario, in my Jasper Reports to display Students marks and the first column is Student ID. This particular column contains hyperlink to another report(not a subreport). Iam able to anchor to a different page, but i want the reports to be generated dynamically, as i might click on any student id, another report containing that particular Student Details must be displayed.

Kindly someone throw light on this, as the jasper report docs doesnt help me much on this.
