Does anyone know if the official Oracle training and/or exam prep is a worthwhile investment? I realize you can study for OCA and OCP on your own, what I am asking is if the money were no object, would the Oracle offerings be valuable?

For example, I am looking at the OCP Exam prep package which includes a video, practice exams, exam fee and retake exam http://education.oracle.com/pls/web_prod-plq-dad/db_pages.getpage?page_id=649&p_org_id=46777&get_params=pkgId:D80455_PKG They also have a similar offering for the OCA.

There is also a training course on Java 7 Programming geared towards people who want their OCP http://education.oracle.com/pls/web_prod-plq-dad/db_pages.getpage?page_id=609&p_org_id=46777&lang=US&get_params=dc:D67238GC20,p_preview:N

If money were no object, I'm sure it expedites exam preparation.

Well I had to make a decision quickly so I purchased the Java 7 Programming course bundle. Hopefully the course is good!

please give a review for us. Did you bought Training On Demand for US$ 2,250 [video training]? Or a class room training?

I attended Java SE 7 Fundamentals class room training. Course was very good, but I am interested in self study course.
