Set Value to html:select

Hi,

I am working on one project in struts , where I want to check if collection contains the value then set it as default value in html:select optio\n.

I am doing this way:

<html:select onkeypress="selectKeyPress();" onkeydown="selectKeyDown();" onblur="clr();" onfocus="clr();" name="tenderFormBean" property="roleCode">
<html:option value=""/>
<html:options collection="rolesList" property="code" labelProperty="meaning"/>
<c:if test="${rolesList.code == Builder}">
<option value="" selected>Builder</option>
</c:if>
</html:select>

Its showing Builder as two times(one which is hard coded as selected and other from collection) in drop down, I want to show only one time......

Please help....

If you set the value in the form bean, Struts should select the value in the drop-down.
