Hello Friends..!!
I need some about Lan communication using java. Actually I have a application containing two modules Super Users and Normal Users, so the exact requirement is. "If a Super User Login then the automatic message reverts to the normal user which are already logged in if not the message will go to their inbox, In the same way if normal user login the notification will move to Super user inbox "

please share some idea how can do it..??

What is "the message"? What is" the automatic message "? What is the" inbox"? Is this a desktop app or a web app? If a desktop app, is some kind of server involved?

Thanks For Your Reply.

The message is like a popup or some kind of notifications. The automatic message means on login the popup or some notification will appear on another machine in which the same application is installed. The Inbox means some kind of area in the application where those notifications will store. Here popup, notifications and messages are same thing I need one of them.
This is a web application having two modules Super user Modules and Normal User Modules. But we want to run on localhost.

For Example : Same as facebook notifications when somebody comments on our status or posts on group notification keep coming

But we want to run on localhost.

What does that mean? A web app runs on one specific server, not on everyone's local machine. If you were thinking of running the server on one particular user's local machine, I strongly advise against that. That's what servers are for that are always available (which desktops are not).

Now that we know that it's a web app with two classes of users, I'm still not sure what the specific problem is that you're facing - what do you have so far, and where are you stuck making progress?
