not really a flashmob, but Improv Everywhere's "Best Baseball Game Ever" tends to get me a little teary each time I watch it.

I liked the michael jackson tribute flash mob. It may be old and boring but always love watching it and liked this group's style.

An earlier discussion: https://coderanch.com/t/586059/md/favorite-flash-mobs. I love the first one in Bert's post, although it's less of a flashmob and more along the lines of what Fred posted.

Martha: what are the policemen singing about?

If I were a kid, I would be worried about Michael Jackson, but if it's a mob, I guess I would be ok

Ulf: Martha: what are the singing about?

It's a theme song from super-popular Soviet TV series about "militia" (recently renamed "police"): Sledstvie vedut znatoki (1971-2003). It became unofficial police hymn, I guess.

Wonderful. Just confirms my suspicion that Russian is the best singing language on earth - along with having the best national anthem ever (you'll have to excuse me linking the USSR version; but it's still my favourite, despite being a confirmed anti-Communist demi-Pole).

And for flash mobs, here's a seasonal one for you.

Mm... Another fan of communistic music here... Good. I actually like best what they called on Youtube "song from the end of 19th century- Requiem for fallen heroes of revolution":

Makes me wonder how pure the movement was in the beginning - might be something that we since lost an ability to imagine.
