Class Files Vary From One Editor To Another Editor  RSS feed

Hi,


i want to know one thing for .class file size is vary from one EDITOR to another EDITOR?


same java file complied from netbeans then file size is 10kb assume and now complied from eclipse kepler version then size is 12kb


so why it is giving difference size .class files?

if any body knows about this one please tell me

First off: please don't post in all uppercase letters. It's considered shouting, and thus rude, all over the 'net: KeepItDown. It's also unnecessarily hard to read.

There could be various reasons - different compilers would produce different output. Or the compiler settings may be different (like some debug output may be included in the class file).

Agreed. So much so that I had to edit it to lowercase.

my exact question is .class files are generated in eclipse but it is working properly in local but when i am post to live server then its not worked and also one thing same files generated .class files from netbeans,these files are working properly in live server So what can i do now in eclipse ?

Don't understand the question.
I am quite sure that both Eclipse and NetBeans will produce identical .class files from the same .java file. You may have ANT build files or similar attached to them by the IDE, which will produce a different size of output, but the .class files ought to be the same.

There is also the possibility that the IDE's are configured to use different versions of Java.
