I figured out.

I can use JAVA_HOME= C:|Progra~1\java\jdk1.6.0_25

One more question to get to end. Where are "Progra~1" and "Progra~2" defined ?

Thanks

Was this supposed to be a reply to another post?

Progra~1 is a shortcut form of Program Files.

And I'm sure you meant C:\ rather than C:|

Yes I meant "\" and not "|"

Actualy, I had put a big question in this post and I figured out by myself. So I edited the post.

How is this short cut Progra~1 set and where ?

Thanks

It's not set anywhere; it's just part of Windows.

The shorthand notation was introduced with Windows 95 when filenames longer than 8 characters were finally allowed. The 8-character notation was introduced for backward compatibility with 8.3 file names.

Don't. It makes the replies look like nonsense.

I am closing this discussion.
