Hello everyone,
I need some good tips to understand how to implement my solution because I never used the WS before and I do not know where to start.
I have to create a synchronous web service that acts as a mediator between a client and another web service to convert the protocols.
I have to manage a soap request from the client, extract the data and prepare another request using that data to another web server.
Could you give some suggestions about:
- what kind of ws using? (I'm using Eclipse and WebLogic)
- how to read the soap message and extract the data
- how to send the new request to the other webservice
- how to create a soap response for the client
- how to return the response to the client

Thanks for any help, links, examples and suggestions.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
