In my school we learn Java with BlueJ but after a short time it got boring so I tried somethin more difficult then our taskes.
My father once gave me a book about fractals and specially about the mandelbrot set and i tried to make it with java but theres a problem:
if I compile it theres no error but when I try to look at it a white frame opens and in the bottom there's a text saying 'start: applet not initialized'.
but when I compiled and run it in the school it worked and showed me the mandelbrot set, so I guessed that there cant be any mistake with my text and I am desperating here at home now ...
is there a problem with my laptop because he got to calculate a few million operations or is there any problem with java?
