I want to use JDBC 4 features with JDK 1.6. But I dont see the following classes java.sql.BaseQuery, java.sql.DataSet, java.sql.Select in JDK1.6. Can someone help me to use those classes do I need to download additional jars or how can I use them. It would be great if some one replies ASAP. Thanks in Advance.

I don't see them in JDK1.7 or JDK1.8 either. Where did you find any reference to those classes? Because they are not part of Java SE, and won't be in Java 8. They are definitely not part of any JDBC version.

ASAP

Please EaseUp.

Looks like these were included in beta version of JDK 6, and then apparently removed: http://download.java.net/jdk6/beta2/docs/api/java/sql/class-use/BaseQuery.html. I guess you encountered some materials that were based on the beta version of JDK 6/JDBC 4, not the version that was eventually released.

Thank You for Rob and Martin, yes I taken some examples from the net and working with them. Once again Thank you for confirming they are not part of original JDK release.
