Organizational chart in JSF/Primefaces  RSS feed

I would like to create this type of chart with Primefaces (or another JSF API), what is the best component to use to do this:

Your example is a static gif.

Organizational charts are usually not changed very often, so setting up logic in the webapp to generate them may be more trouble than it is worth. You might find it more convenient to generate the chart itself offline using a tool such as graphviz.

For more dynamic charting purposes, you don't specifically need JSF, you need an actual charting facility. JSF is geared towards creating HTML, not binary content such as images and spreadsheets.

JFreeChart is one of the most commonly-used Java components for graphing and charting, although I don't know if that includes hierarchical diagrams such as org charts. Assuming it does, there are wrapper JSF controls that can be used to embed JFreeChart charts into a JSF HTML page.
