Part3 update not present in the result

Hello Jeanne,


I got part 2 score 124/160 yesterday.But still no update for Part 3 in certview.Part 3 is still showing as "Taken".


Can you shed any light over this asap?

You get a combined part 2 and 3 score. That is your score. It should say pass or fail in certview. If not, email Oracle - maybe something got stuck.

Hello Jeanne,

I contacted Oracle Certification Support for this "Issue" and got the reply stating:

"Please note that there is no Pass / Fail status for the essay exam. The essay exam status will be always displayed as "TAKEN". Your assignment has been graded along with the Essay exam."

I have also got the Congratulations mail from Oracle stating:
"Congratulations! You have passed the Oracle Certified Master, Java EE 5 Enterprise Architect certification. You are among the elite 1% of certified Java professionals who have gone on to achieve the Java Enterprise Architect certification. "

I have got "PASS" status with the assignment and the master(multiple choice) exam.I have "Taken" status with the essay exam.
So I think now the "issue" has been resolved.
