Yes, of course. The data must be text of course. If both aopps have access tot he same database, you'd only need to pass the id of the entity.

How can i send query string using sendRedirect with encryption and how can receive in the destination servlet(here source servlet and destination servlets are in two different applications).Can anyone give me an idea....

Why do you want to do this? Are you trying to achieve single sign on? Are users going to be switched from one application to another and be automatically logged in to that application? Stop trying to solve this with servlet redirects for a moment and think about/design what the use case is.
