Hi,

I ordered the Bates and Sierra Book as it was the only one with decent reviews online!

What sections from this book should I concentrate on for OCAJP? Yes , I have checked the mapping page: http://www.coderanch.com/how-to/java/OCAJP7andOCPJP7vsOCJP6

But I was hoping somebody who has been through the process would be able to give me a better summary of what sections of the book I should zone in on for OCAJP?

Chapters 1 - 5 for sure? Anything from the other chapters?

Thanks.

Per Bert's post,
(this is an older book but chapters 1-5 plus the sections on ArrayList, String, StringBuilder, hashCode(), and equals() cover the OCA)

Thanks Jeanne, From Bert as well, one of the authors, . Between this book and the simulation software I should be good.

Thanks, its all very confusing, think I am much clearer now!

I guess Bert & Sierra are waiting for Java 8 now before their next publication.
