Hi!! I was wondering if I could give both the exams(OCAJ[1Z0-803] and OCPJP[1Z0-804]) in the same week.
For example, If I give the OCAJ exam today, Can I give the other exam i.e. OCPJP after couple of days??? or Do I have to wait a couple of months after giving the associate exam. Please Help!!!

Welcome.

You can take multiple exams in a day or week. The question to ask is are you confident to pass both in a short time. The OCP7 exam is harder and cover more topics than OCA7.

Well.... So.....rt of .... I'm confident about the 1st exam but not about the 2nd exam. I asked this question because, I live in a small town and there are no prometric centers... And, if I have to, appear, I have to get to the nearest city which is approx. 650 miles away from my home town and I'm preparing from the last 6months. I have planned to appear both the exams at one go with difference of 3 to 4 days....

Maybe it could be an option to take OCPJP6 instead? It's just 1 exam and with the K&B book you'll have 1 resource which covers all topics you need to know. And you also need to know fewer topics than for OCPJP7 (no nio2.0, jdbc, localization, design patterns).

When you pass OCPJP6 you can take later on the upgrade path to become OCPJP7.

That is fine. Just wait until you are ready to take the OCPJP 7. I actually took the OCPJP 7 before the OCAJP 7. (because the beta was about to end - I don't recommend taking them backwards). The good thing is once you are ready to take the OCPJP 7, you'll fine the OCAJP 7 easy!
