Welcome to the Ranch!

I think your book every developer should have on his or her desk. I used to work at a company where there no architect role was available. So all architecture and design were driven by developers. Generally company could deliver some software and even it was worked however they had tremendous code duplication and every feature implementation looked as completely separate product. So they needed to put tons efforts of integration parts of own product. Obviously the company soon ended life . So if people want really create a good product which will survive for decades, they need to read your book.

Welcome, Simon!

I have had the fortune and pleasure of reviewing the book and I have to say it's the book I wish I could have written. It is going to be a great resource for me and it has already helped me a lot in organizing and presenting information about my current project at work. Parts V and VIII (Appendix B) alone are well worth the price. Congratulations on a job very well done and thank you for sharing your experience!

Hello
Welcome to Ranch ...
Hope your book goes on mega pace though my simple clarification is whether or not your samplerbook does deal about iteration particulars as an example since the project which i am doing is not fully complete but for your cohesive ways to handle objects in a program especially so when many methods in it needs repetitive execution to find a feasible solution.
Best Wishes

Hey simon you are most welcome to the Ranch for this promotion.
I guess your book will empower developers to be better architects of apps and design the software properly before diving into implementation.
Expect lots of questions men! Once again "Welcome!!!"

Hi everybody ... many thanks for the kind words and for the warm welcome. I'm really looking forward to having some good discussion about software architecture - it's a topic that we often don't talk about but every software developer should know something about. Why? Well, I'll leave that for the other discussion threads... :-)
