How to grant privilege on particular column in oracle.

I want to give user select ability on a table but only on one column.
How I can do that .

I don`t want to create a view and then give privileges on that view ,,,is there a way.

No, there isn't any other way. You need to create a view and grant select on the entire view. In Oracle, SELECT privilege cannot be granted on individual columns (unlike INSERT and UPDATE privileges)
