Hello all!

I am currently starting my first EJB project and have used the latest JBoss EAP 6.2. I believe I have my server set up correctly and am able to deploy my EJB jar with no errors or warnings from the server console. My issue is when I try to call a method on a Stateless bean - I have set up my interfaces (both remote and local) which my bean implements and my client calls the remote interface, when I do so, I get the following error:

I haven't been able to find any reference to this error anywhere, looking at the javadoc on TransactionRecoveryContextInitializer, it states the following:

A {@link EJBClientContextInitializer} which sets up the {@link EJBClientContext} with the relevant information so that the transaction recovery process for EJB XAResource(s) can be functional

I was hoping someone here might be able to shed some light on this error? If you require any code please let me know!

Thank you,
Ian

Ian, welcome to CodeRanch!

That class is supposed to be part of the JBoss EJB client API jar which is expected to be on your client classpath. Are you sure you are using the correct (version) of the client jar?
