Recently i learn that there are 2 kinds in which we can include files in JSPs
1. Static include which is used when the included file does not change often. Done by <%@ include file="">
2. Dynamic include which is used when the included file changes frequently. Done by <%jsp:include page="">
I understand that static include literally replace the content of the file where it is being included before the jsp is compiled and turned to servlet.
Whereas, dynamic include makes the another request to the Application Server.
Query : I am interested in knowing how does dynamic include actually works. I mean what are the steps involved.
Thanks and Warm Regards

It simply uses the RequestDispatcher include() method, which you can easily look up in the javadoc.
Would you turn that thing down? I'm controlling a mind here! Look ... look at the tiny ad ...
