I use Thunderbird to connect to gmail via a POP server for 2 accounts: my real account and my junk mail account. Noticed I haven't gotten a single message all day, and about 6 hours ago got a text that someone was sending me an attachment. Still don't have it.
About 30 minutes ago I had one of my accounts send mail to the other, still haven't got that either.
So, if you use gmail and aren't getting any mail today, you aren't alone.
Note I get no POP errors, and I can log into gmail.com. No new mail, but no errors either.
Reminds me of something that happened a couple months ago. I'm in a
play by email game, day before the turn is due they run my turn for errors and give me a chance to fix them. I got the error check and the turn at the same time. Looking at the headers, the error report had arrived at gmail.com 24 hours earlier and, well, just sat there. grrr
Update: just got my
testing email to myself, still none of the usual crap from ebay, paypal, billmelater, amazon, my insurance agent, avast, western digital, etc etc etc.
