I'm trying to implement a custom AuthenticationEntryPoint in my Spring app. At one point everything played nice, but something happened shortly after moving my project over to Maven that broke the app. At first I thought I was missing a lib or had a version conflict, but basic spring-security works fine. I would like to get a fix for this, but also find out if there's a technique in troubleshooting these kind of errors besides commenting out code and finding out where it's failing line by line (which I had to do).

This is setup to run on the Google App Engine.

I also tried my code with all the code in commence commented out.
