I have an Ingredients table which is suppose to be blank and when i click an add button , the user has to type in the Ingredient name, quantity and unit .
I'm suppose to use the Temporary Arraylist to get the user input to be stored into the ingredient table.
How do i go about doing this ? Are there any similiar examples ?
Thanks !

Well, there are many examples of using ArrayList if you search for "Java ArrayList" or a similar term. Or you could just use single variables if there's no multiple entries to be saved at each time.

But it's good if you could show us what you have done so far, so that others can help you improve the code.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
