Dear All,

I want to display the data on edit link according to Id no .For Ex I have data on the table below

ID Name Emp ID Dept Edit
1 xyz 3425 abcd Edit

On Edit link display the data according to ID number. How can i write the code.
kindly help me

When you are displaying the row, you might keep a hidden field that stores the value of id based on which the record is to be edited. Now make edit as hyper link or a button, and when it is clicked, pass the value of hidden field as query string to the corresponding servlet.

Or make the ID a request parameter of the link.

Yes.. right. I didn't pay attention to that. If it's a hyper link it can always be the request parameter, no need of hidden fields.
