Most people do better on the real exam because they are more careful. Look at why you got each question wrong. Then we if you can re-take the mock and if you do better. They key is to identify WHY the answer is the answer and not just memorize the answers. This will train your brain what to look for in a question. Then on the real exam, you'll be more likely to see the traps.

Please postpone the exam for one week. Do one extra recap and try another go at the tests.

This is what I would do, as the exam fee is expensive (for me at least) so I would not go unless I take the test with 80% or better. No point in risking to loose money for no actual gain.
Besides, one more week of study will gain you a better understanding of the subject, this is after all what the exam is all about.

So yes, I would postpone it if I were in your place.

I am glad that you did not hurry and made the right choice. In the end the goal is to learn as much Java as possible, not a diploma.

As for last week advice, I am not qualified to give any, as at the moment I am studying myself for this exam.
Having said that, one good thing that I did for the OCA exam was to solve the enthuware mock exams in the week before the exam, so that I remembered the questions and answers.
Plus I had read the SCJP 6 K&B book twice before I took the exam.

Could you please tell us what books have you used to study for OCP ?

I found ExamLab very difficult. I think I scored between 58% and 76% and my final result was 95%.

Those who feel 'disappointed' with low scores on ExamLab don't really need to worry. What all you have to do is use ExamLab in the right way. Please read this article for more information on what you can do with your low scores on ExamLab.

Sad to see that ExamLab is just like Enthuware in that its mock exams are all unrealistically difficult. My vote is just to have mock exams be as accurate portrayals of the real exams as possible. If you want to add difficult or unrelated questions that's fine, but put those separate.

Each mock exam has their own motivation. Maybe there is another mock exam with same difficulty level as of the real exam. Maybe their motivation would be to be a forecasting tool that lets people predict what they will score in the real exam. That's not what the motivation of ExamLab is. On the other hand, making questions 'unrealistically' difficult is not a motivation either. For instance, ExamLab does not contain questions on how serialization works in bits-and-bytes; questions on bitwise operations; or, at least, questions on generic inheritance. This sort of questions don't add anything good to your SCJP/OCPJP preparation. ExamLab questions are made tricky, but not in a more-than-enough difficulty level. ExamLab's motivation is to make questions tricky as much as endurable, strengthening your mind to answer all sort of tricky questions when it comes to the real exam.
