I'm interested in the fact the cover is different with the typical books of Manning. Is there some story there?

Thanks.

Not really, we just didn't like the default Manning style all that much and asked if they could do just a simpler, more modern style cover.

Is that because the book has not yet appeared in print, and therefore has no cover?

I like the fact that the MEAP book cover plays well with the official Scala trademark's black and red color.
