Hi,

I am new to Mobile application development. I have learned by googling and somehow designed the front part of a sample form in Mobile using jQuery Mobile framework. Now i need to know how to submit form. Is there any server side scripting available to handle mobile form submissions. In which server those scripts run and return the response. How to return the response from server and display it in Mobile. I need kind of those details. I googled a lot. But i could not find any details on how to start with server side scripting in Mobile.

Not only in form submission. It would be great if any body could help me with all the features of designing Mobile app.

Please help me with any link or any details.

Thanks in advance

There's nothing particularly different on the server with respect to mobile clients. Generally you'd use a REST WS for that; if the server runs on Java that might be a JAX-RS implementation like Jersey.

As regards developing mobile apps, lots of good information is available on http://developer.android.com/guide/index.html, or start with some introductory book; several are listed in the http://www.coderanch.com/how-to/java/AndroidFaq.
