launching new configuration encountered a problem. while creating and and running a jar from eclipse

Hi everyone,
I want to create and run a jar from eclipse.

I would like to share what i did till now:

i right clicked project and in properties->Run/debug tab->new->
thereafter i gave project name:LoggerTest and Main class:LogTest then
pressed OK

Then I exported the runnable jar of my project and then when i'm trying to run this jar file
by RUN-> External tool configuration and location-> E:\jar\logger.jar
working directory:E:\jar then
if i press run i'm getting launching new configuration encountered a problem.

if i run from cmd then i'm getting UnsupportedVersion error.

please guide me how to resolve this problem
