I have jdk 1.7 before installing java 8.

Everything works fine. However, after installing java 8 I cannot open my Scene builder on Netbeans IDE and different jars did not function normally such as of JDialogs.

I can run my project and everything are working but still scene builder did not open my fxml for me.

My Scene Builder version is 1.0, I know its sounds primitive because of the availability of scene builder 2.0.

So, what I did is to uninstall java 8 so that everything will work fine again.

I know I should cope up with the latest version of java which is java 8.

So how can I solve my problem regarding on scene builder? Do i need to install a latest version of it too?

Where is the problem? In java 8 or in Scene Builder 1.0?

Thank you so much!

Cheers!

Looks like you need Scene Builder 2.0 if you want to use Java 8.

Also note that neither Java 8, nor Scene Builder 2.0 were officially released as of now.

So, it is ok not to switch for java 8 and scene builder 2.0 for now? For they are still working on it?

But Scene Builder 2.0 looks promising.

If it is you, will you go for java 8 and scene buider now? or it is premature at this moment?

Thank you so much for answering!

It should be stable enough for you to experiment with. But it likely creates code that runs on Java 8 only - which is not what people will have installed for quite some time, so distributing the app might be difficult.
