Hi, I'm trying this tutorial:

link to JavaWorld tutorial

I am running it in Eclipse. I set the run configuration by selecting my 'Hello World' bundle, then adding required bundles.

javax.servlet
org.apache.felix.gogo.runtime
org.apache.felix.gogo.shell
org.eclipse.equinox.console
org.eclipse.osgi
org.eclipse.osgi.services
and of course my hello world bundle

All bundles are set to Start Level default and Auto-Start default, except org.eclipse.osgi which is set to -1 and true

This is the console output I get:

Hello World!!
osgi>

and that's all, no Goodbye World!!.

Does anyone know what the problem could be?

Oops! Sorry! It is supposed to do that until a stop command is issued!

The console should have some command to stop a bundle. (The article actually mentions what that is.) Once you enter that you should see the goodbye message.

Thanks for your help. I'm having a new problem with the tutorial now); I accidently marked this thread as resolved, so I posted the new problem in a fresh thread(:

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
