How to learn HTML and CSS?

Hi all,

I'm 3rd year computer science student and i want to java web developer, i passed OCAJP exam and i prepare for OCPJP exam .

I know i should learn HTML,CSS and JavaScript but i really don't know from where should i start ? :)

HTML first ? or HTML and CSS together ?

recommended books ?

I recommend learning HTML and CSS together. You can't display much (in a current best practices manner) without CSS.

For someone new to the topic, I recommend Murach's HTML 5 and CSS 3. Click the link for my review.

I have got 81% in OCAJP and just 65% in OCPJP you are right You need to know HTML and CSS for it. So go ahead with your studies and congratulations for OCAJP exam
