i have written servlet using java.util.Timer and java.util.TImerTask below is my code



please help me i am not able to figure out the problem i have included Timer and TimerTask still it is giving me error

What is "MyTimerTask" - has it been compiled successfully, or is otherwise available on the classpath?

Also, assuming you didn't just omit that for posting - you need to get into the habit of putting all your classes in packages. You will run into problems sooner or later if you don't.

Where is your MyTimerTask ? Is it compile properly and is it in same package
