Hi,

I have requirement of generating a pdf document in which some of the values are being fetched from the database based on some input parameters.
But this document spans to two pages.
I thought of desiging it using jasper reports by putting everything in the title section of report. but jasper doesn't allow title to be longer then the single page size.

Can anyone give a solution to this, how it can be implemnted in jasper??

With thanks
Richa.

Why are trying to put lengthy content in the title? That's what the document body is for.

Well i tried to put the information in detail section.
But still its not solving my problem.

i want that from some fixed line onwards the information shud b displayed in the second page. But rt now its displaying all the info on first page itself. I tried changing the height of page and detail section but that's not helping me out.
Can someone suggest a solution for this..

thanks & regards
Richa.

You shouldn't mess with the size of the page, it will only confuse the printer later on. Can't you put in a page feed at the location where it should break?

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
