Agreed. But even if the writing wasn't as good, the show would be worth watching just for Spader's performance.

I'm also enjoying Breaking Bad on Netflix.

Loved The Cat in Red Dwarf.

Also loved the fact that Bodie and Doyle seemed incapable of driving their cars normally. Handbrake turning their MkII Escort into a parking space to get a pint of milk from the shop.

Tried Orphan Black this weekend. The recommendation came with absolutely no clarifications. In fact, I didn't even know that it was a science fiction show.

After an episode, I was intrigued. After two, it felt awkward, but more intrigued. After three, I finally realized it was science fiction, and completely hooked. Basically, I wind up binge watching the first season ...

Same here. I saw a preview for it and it looked interesting. I've seen three episodes now and I'm hooked. I've DVR'd (is that a word?) the entire first season and can't wait to get through them and into the second season.
