converting free hand draw Path to beziercurve

This is my first post in this site. It will be a pleasure if someone show me how to compute with this problem or even direct me
to links or resources that teaches the subject. I need to implement a program that convert a free hand draw shapes to it's
equivalent cubic beziercurve and also calculate the two control points.
The first image is draw with free hand and second is when it's converted to curve spline.
The operation is similar to coral draw converting free hand draw to cubic curve spline.
