I am using jsf with richfaces.
Scroll bar inside panel grid is displayed.
Need to disable / hide the bowser (IE-9) scroll bar.

Added above style, but not working.

That should disable scrolling withing an HTML DIV created from the panelGrid element, but that wouldn't be the browser window's scroll bar, just a possible scroll bar for that section of the page.

I'm not really sure if you can disable/hide the window scrollbar, although I can tell you that it would be awfully rude. Some rather well-known websites are impossible for me to read on a tablet device because they cannot be scrolled, but the tablet browser doesn't have a scroll bar because you drag the window content directly.

If you have content that you are absolutely positive you know what size screens it will always display on, you could always do something like setup a fixed-height DIV to contain the content. Although on a system with resizable windows, there will still be a scroll bar if the user has resized the window to something smaller than that.

Ultimately, this isn't a JSF problem. If you can find a way to get what you want in straight non-Java HTML, it can be employed with JSF.
