Weblogic-Hibernate Datasource: for every 10 min it takes 2 sec extra time to run the query

Hi,

I am using Weblogic server and Hibernate as the framework. For every 10 min gap if i don't hit any request(idle) my application takes 2 sec extra time to run the query. I am using Weblogic datasource to run the query.
I am using default properties for the data soruce. Can any one help me to fix this issue?

What is the Initial Capacity set for the data source? It should be non-zero value (ideally 1 or 2 depending on the concurrent load of requests).

initial capacity is 1

Increase it to 10 and check if you are still getting the issue?
