I am using XAMPP 1.8.1. for about last 1 month, but from past few days while starting XAMPP the " Apache " service is not starting with complain that port 8080 is already in use. 8080 is being used by Tomcat since day1 of the use.
I have even tried reinstalling XAMPP but nothing happened. Kinldy guide me to restart my " Apache " so I can restart my learning.

Look in conf/httpd.conf, at the Listen entry and make sure it is set to 80, and not 8080:

See http://httpd.apache.org/docs/current/mod/mpm_common.html#Listen
