How to access a Active directory through ldap from a remote machine through Java

Hi ,

I have requirement of changing a active directory's group settings from a remote machine for automating a test scenario . We use Selenium for automation. I have change group settings and try to login in to the application through the changed group user . I have to do this in java. can you please guide me how we can do this.

Hi Bhanu , Welcome to the Ranch. You would make the Java calls through adsiedit.dll . This entails loading the dll, properly using it's associated functions to make the necessary changes you want in Active Directory. This assignment you described is not for the feint of heart or for beginners. Hopefully, you are well experienced in ADSI . If not, you may want to request a coach or mentor for this task.
