I want to develop a java application of text editor for windows 7 phone. From where should I start and from where can I get tutorial for the same?

I'm fairly certain that Windows Phone does not run any version of Java, and never will. You could resort to Nokia's Asha platform or develop for Android, if you want to use Java on mobile devices.

... and now both Nokia Asha (based on Java ME) and Nokia X (based on Android) appear headed for the scrap heap - no more Java on Microsoft's mobile devices.
