Hello Ranchers ,

I have come across 2 ways of Logging Events , 1 is Commons-Logging and Other being Log4j.

I would request to let me know what is the difference between the 2 ?

the Only difference i see here according to the Practical Experience i have is , Log4J has an log4j.properties file , while the Commons-Logging doesn't. If this analogy also is wrong please correct me and show me the path to the Correct light,

Thanks in Advance,
Yogendra Joshi.

Commons logging is a wrapper that interfaces with log4j, the logging package in Java, and or, some other logging packages.

Moving to Other Open Source Projects where such things are discussed.
