What's the question?

"work" may be an Oracle keyword but only the right context. In this context it's expecting a table name so that's what it sees.

create table select (id number);

invalid table name

what`s the meaning of context.
Is work is not a reserved word ? if it is why it does not give the error invalid table name like in this case when I use select as table name.

There are several list of reserved words, and some of them can probably be reserved in some contexts (such as PL/SQL) only. I've found this list of SQL reserved words, which doesn't include "WORK".
