Hi

I don't have Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE Programmer I certification. Can I take Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE Programmer II without taking Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE Programmer I?

Thank you for your help.

Those are called Java SE 7 Programmer I and Java SE 7 Programmer II.
I don't know whether you could register for Java SE 7 Programmer II without Java SE 7 Programmer I passed.
Why would you want to do that anyway? Even if that was possible, you wouldn't get certified.

No, you need OCAJP7 to get OCPJP7 unless you have SCJP6 in which case there's a slightly different upgrade exam to get you straight to OCPJP7.

I Agree with Tyson Lindner, You need to pass both OCAJP 7 and OCPJP 7 then only you will be certified as Oracle Certified Programmer, if you feel you don't want to take two exams then go for OCPJP 6.

Thank you very much for providing the information to me.
Do I have to pass OCAJP 7 in order to take OCPJP 7 ?

Yes and no.
There are two ways to be OCPJP 7.
1. Pass OCAJP 7 and then OCPJP 7.
2. Pass OCPJP 6 (or earlier) and ther upgrade to OCPJP 7.

So, it is possible to have OCPJP 7 without ever passing OCAJP 7.
But whatever you do, to have OCPJP 7 you need to pass two exams.
