Hi

I have been asked to do the following.......................

open a command prompt and type:

java -cp “C:\Program
Files\Weka-3-7\weka.jar”;C:\Users\Stan\wekafiles\packages\LibSVM\LibSVM.jar
;C:\Users\Stan\wekafiles\packages\LibSVM\lib\libsvm.jar
weka.functions.LibSVM -h

Use tab as you’re building the classpath in order to be sure that the path
does exist.
*******************************
When I try to enter the classpath details using the tab key I get so far and then it won't accept any further input ?

The command prompt window takes up about 1/3 of the screen (HP Pavilion) and I can't make it wider

I'm not sure what your exact problem is but you can use the tab key to auto complete the file/folder name you are trying to type. You have to type the first part of the path then repeatedly press tab until you see the text you are trying to type and don't type the quotation marks, the tab feature will add those if required.

The size of the command prompt screen shouldn't matter, it will auto wrap onto the next line.

If this doesn't help can you give more details of what you are typing and what is happening, or what you expect to happen but isn't happening.

Bob,

Why not just put the command in a bat file and execute that?
