Hi all;

I am Geting one issue Initially my application is Runing oN oracle soa oc4j server. There is already 1 jsp page says Jsppage1 . Which is working fine.
But I do some customization and add new feature include some java script with page . this jsp page1 has

case 1 when Jsppage1 has

<%@ page language="java" contentType="text/html;charset=UTF-8"%>
request.setCharacterEncoding("UTF-8");

in this case if i include my java script or even same keydown retun"false" on password label then that changes are not reflected. even page is not dispaly
it display empty page.

even i Restarted the server after that also it display empty page.

case2 when jsppage1 has

<%@ page language="java" contentType="text/html"%>

in this case when i include my java script file for new feature or even same keydown retun"false" on password label then that changes are reflected. even page is dispaly properly.

So What is the Reason of this behaviour . I am using oc4j application server.

Please explain any one

-Thanks

Don't know, but that question is too hard for “beginning”, so I shall move it. Let's try the JSP forum.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
