Hello, fellas!

What's the best or your favorite new feature in EJB 3.2? Perhaps something that addresses a pain point that you have had to deal with on a regular basis?

And when are you guys going to make a deal with the Head First folks to update the Head First EJB book? Man, that one's long in the tooth!

BTW, I've got the 1st edition of EJB 3 In Action, and love it!

I also apparently love exclamation points!

There haven't been many noticeable feature additions in EJB 3.2. IMO, the one I think is useful, is the ability to let each individual stateful bean disable passivation if it wants to.

My thoughts, too, with what little I've looked into 3.2. I wondered if something had escaped my attention.

There's really not that much new in EJB 3.2. The major change was deprecation of CMP and BMP. I would say in terms of the book the most interesting content is around @Asynchronous, @Scheduled, CDI and WebSocket. BTW, thanks for the kind words!
