I've gone to the Java page and tried to DOWNLOAD the API, but I only get this: http://docs.oracle.com/javase/1.5.0/docs/
So can anyone give me a link for the API documentation download for Java SE SDK 1.5?

Welcome to JavaRanch.

Documentation downloads can be found on http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html (only for current Java versions, though, not for Java 5 - but you shouldn't be using that any more anyway).

Wow. Really?!? It is that easy? Why didn't you upgrade before?

BTW, having worked with a lot of clients, who are using old versions of Java (multiple versions back), I find that they tend to have strong reasons against upgrading. This is why I am surprised that you didn't upgrade from Java 5 (an almost 10 year old version), as you don't seem to have any issues with upgrading.
